In the end, everything that counts is the surface. You’re judged by your looks everyday neither it be society or love. Everything you have to be is a model. 90/60/90, tall, long and healthy hair and a pretty face. The so called “high” value of intelligence and character is just a simple disguise of the world, so nobody will complain about anything. What’s the saddest part about this whole story is, that every person in this world knows this, moreover everyone is just too afraid to go for the qualities of a persons heart, because when you have someone who is not that perfect around you, strangers start to stare and point their finger at you. Which leads to the result that you feel uncomfortable among this person and start to build up a growing distance.
And everyone is wondering why some people get depressive, hide themselves in their apartments or are just too afraid to smile because those small, little wrinkles everyone has start to get a bit more visible and makes you imperfect to the world. So instead of being happy, laughing your perfect, maybe a little bit dork-ish, but still wonderful laugh like there is no tomorrow, you start to cry, put on your oh so perfect poker face or turn your back to the world and start to feel numb, hollow, useless, unloved.
Then, according to society, you are perfect like you are, but when you’re showing your perfection, you’re disgusting, ugly, a simple rebel and you fall out of the ordinary. So you have to turn your emotions down, erase them, make your feelings an empty, white page of wonderful nothing and be like everyone, afraid to be yourself, be perfect, be free, accepted and loved.
And even I, myself started to wear a thick mask, so nobody will ever see my true face.
This is just sick.
